SITES

Sites explores the urban landscape and the varied and complex relationship we share with it. while the photographs that make up this series span several years, they all share a continued interest of an ongoing theme in Curtis Trent’s work – the connection between people and their environment.

The images also share a quality of ambiguity; where the viewer is actively engaged in unraveling the narrative. Sites focuses on horizontal composition. This format allows the photographer to affect compositional space by increasing depth, impacting the viewer’s sense of place within the photograph.
